Lead The Way
Everyone is on a path to somewhere, hoping in all earnest that at their final destination the proverbial pot of gold awaits them. On this singular path comes many decisions and small micro-adjustments that overtime can either keep us on track, or skew our trajectory to where we end up lost, frustrated and defeated.
How are you walking through life? Better yet, how are you making these decisions in life? Are you relying on you, or God to direct your steps?
Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Eventually we all come to find, that the way forward invariably leads us back to a simple yet sincere question of identity. There exists in our time, a distinct group of human beings who identify as “in Christ Jesus” and that distinction determines their direction, the realisation of their destiny, and eventually their final destination.
Romans 8:1 - There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 8:14 - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Our Heavenly Father spared no expense by sending His own Son to die for our sins, freeing us from the law of sin and death, and releasing us to walk from hence forth in His righteousness. An eternal plan, culminating in a Holy Spirit-infused family being led and guided by our Creator, conforming us to the image of His Son. It’s an amazing grace, a sweet salvation, an inseparable love! Life as it was meant to be lived.
What shall we say then to these things? I say…
Lead the Way!
