I Believe
Do you believe in God?
Don’t be so quick to answer that question, but pause and honestly ponder your answer, and the terrifying implications of it. If you honestly examine the way in which you live, do YOU believe in God?
To say you believe in God, you should have something to show for it - and that something is everything! If you believe in God, you should be living it out fully! If you know the truth, then you should be free…freely speaking and living it out.
God only knows what you’d be if you truly believed!
If you believed, it would be a transfiguring event…proof of an internal restoration of your soul. Living a lifestyle that accurately correlates to the state of your heart. But hang on, what is the limit of that transfiguring event? What would our world look like if each one of us live a life that was maximally God-centered? It would be a world bountiful in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.
God only knows what you’d be if you truly believed!
We often find ourselves at cross-purposes to ourselves, where we are the source of our own confusion and failure because we have a duplicity of purpose. Double-dealing deceivers of our own selves, with ambidextrous hearts of stone. What are you aiming at in your heart of hearts?
It’s interesting to imagine a world in which unbridled belief in God is unceasingly manifested. When His light is being shone into every dark corner of our hearts. Where we live as if God is! Our lives abandoned for His and our identities shifted entirely. Where we live in Light of His bigger story and destiny for us - the light of His transformative love.
God only knows what you’d be if you truly believed!
John 14:12-14 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
Romans 8:19 - For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
